The My Terra Village Learning Center at Brookwood Village has a multi-faceted mission, involving all members of our child care community. Our goals are to provide children with an environment in which they feel the security and motivation to learn and grow, families with an atmosphere in which they feel the confidence to share with us participation in their children’s daily experiences, and staff with the incentive to continue their discovery of the wonders of childhood development and education. Children, families, and staff working as a team will be enabled to grow and learn from their interactions with one another.

Basic Child Care Program in Erie, Pa.

Our basic child care program provides full-day care in a developmentally appropriate educational setting for children ages 1 year and older. A morning and afternoon snack are provided. Periods of time are set aside for large group and small group interaction, large and small muscle activities, individually chosen play, meal times and rest times. Literacy activities are a daily occurrence and are incorporated into the schedule on a regular basis.
